Powerfully peaty and immensely satisfying, Ardbeg's Corryvreckan is what happens when the distillery of Islay's Kildalton Coast aims to make a whisky with a particularly medicinal style than its usual expressions. Aptly named after a nearby whirlpool, Corryvreckan is an intense dram that we simply love.

Nose: Heavy peat, sticking plasters, buttery, creamy, roast chicken crisps, herbal and almost a hint of pine.

Palate: Heavy peat, cream, spices, fresh fruit, medicinal, plasters, clementines and orange peels.

Finish: Heavy peat, salty, more medicinal, smoked meats, tarmac, chilli and salt.

作為一款超重泥煤的作品，當一間位於艾萊島基達爾頓海​​岸的釀酒廠決定製作出一種比往常風格更具特色的威士忌時，這一支雅柏漩渦便出現了。這款作品以附近的漩渦"Corryvreckan"所命名，是鍾愛泥煤味道之人所必須的。

香氣：重泥煤、膏藥、牛油、忌廉、烤雞薯片、草藥和一點松木。

口感：重泥煤、忌廉、香料、新鮮水果、藥物、膏藥、柑桔和橙皮。

尾韻：重泥煤、鹹、更多的藥物、熏制的肉、柏油碎石、辣椒和鹽。
