Really smoky and iodine rich. This has to be one of Scotland's (Islay) most characterful drams. Laphroaig are known for their medicinal malts, and the classic 10 year old is no exception.

Nose: Big, smoky peat notes with spices, liquorice and salt. This also has slightly sweetness with the classic iodine/sticking plasters and cool wood smoke.

Palate: Seaweed-led, with a hint of vanilla ice cream and more than a whiff of notes from the first aid box. Oaky, followed by cardamom, black pepper and chilli.

Finish: Tarry notes build up with an iodine complexity.

煙熏和碘的氣息相當豐富。作為蘇格蘭艾萊島最具特色的其中一間蒸餾廠，拉弗格（Laphroaig）醫院消毒藥水味（甚至是正露丸味）聞名，而這支10年份的經典麥芽威士忌也不例外。

香氣：很重煙熏泥煤味，同時帶有香料、甘草和鹽。經典的碘/膏藥和涼爽的木煙也略帶一點甜味。

口感：以紫菜為主導，帶有淡淡的雲呢拿雪糕和急救箱中的少許香氣。接著是橡木味、荳蔻、黑胡椒和辣椒。

尾韻：焦油氣息散發出複雜的碘味。
