Laphroaig Quarter Cask Single Malt Scotch Whisky

The name "Quarter Cask" is inspired by the special maturation method by Laphroaig. This bottling was aged for around five years in traditional American bourbon cask before being finished in a customized quarter cask for several months. the size of the cask is quite small, thus does not require such a long maturation. In order to present the features of this bottle, this non-chill filtered Quarter Cask is bottled at 48%. This remains a truly great achievement from Laphroaig.

Color: Pale gold.

Nose: Oily and buttery. Lemongrass, herbs, toffee, nuttiness, hickory, soda, rum, raisin,  ice cream.

Palate: Big rush of sweetness. Sweet cereals,  a touch of cola syrup, lemony smoke, brine, lemonade and peppery oak.

Finish: Long. Fruity, custard, cigar smoke and mint.

“1/4”的靈感是源於拉佛格特殊的熟成方法。先在傳統的美國波本桶中熟成大約五年，然後再移置到特製的四分之一桶中熟成幾個月。因為桶的尺寸非常小，因此不需要太長的成熟時間。為了表現1/4桶的特色，這支未經冷凝過濾的1/4桶酒精濃度為48％。這款拉佛格的作品是一項真正的偉大成就。

色澤：淺金色

香氣：油潤和牛油狀。檸檬草、雲呢拿、拖肥糖、堅果、山核桃、蘇打、蘭姆酒、葡萄乾和雪糕的味道。

口感：大量的甜味。甜穀物、淡淡的可樂糖漿、檸檬煙氣、鹽水、檸檬水和胡椒橡木。

尾韻：悠長。果味、卡士達醬、雪茄煙和薄荷。
