Followed by the "Ardbeg Blaaack" launched by Ardbeg last year, "The Ardbeg Arrrrrrrdbeg!" was finally launched this year. This Ardbeg limited whisky are only released to their Committee Members as before. The captain shown on the label is the former distillery manager - Mickey Heads, as he led Ardbeg for 13 years.

Rye Whiskey may not be very common to Scotch whisky drinkers, however this time Ardbeg used Ex Rye Whiskey Casks to age this bottle. We wonder if such an unconventional approach will bring surprises to whisky drinkers?

Colour: Straw colour

Nose: Aromas of smoked banana and pears drift to some rye bread, sweet vanilla toffee and a gentle anise breeze. A splash of water opens up notes of lemon and lime, while a fresh note of sorbet and sweet pastries comes to the fore.

Palate: Lots of flavours. A blunderbuss ignites fruity aromas such as melons and kiwis. An armada of anise appears, accompanied by smoked toffee and a hint of sweet sourdough rolls.

Finish: A long finish leaves a salty spray with Brazil nuts and gentle smoke aromas that linger on the palate for a long time.

繼上一年 Ardbeg 推出的作品 "Ardbeg Blaaack"，今年終於推出萬眾期待的 "The Ardbeg Arrrrrrrdbeg!"，Ardbeg 限定酒款都一如以往地只會向他們的 Committee Members 釋出，酒標上面的船長正是前酒廠經理 Mickey Heads。這支作品是向帶領 Ardbeg 足足 13年的Mickey作出致敬。

Rye Whiskey 對蘇威飲家可能不太常見，而這次 Ardbeg 就使用了Ex Rye Whiskey Casks 為這支作品陳年，不知道如此破格的做法會不會為一眾飲家們帶來驚喜呢？

色澤：稻草色

香氣：首先是熏制的香蕉和梨的香氣，再到黑麥麵包、甜美的香草太妃糖和輕柔的茴香微風中。同時還散發出檸檬和酸橙的香氣，以及新鮮的冰糕和甜糕點。

口感：瓜果、獼猴桃等水果香氣。少許茴香，伴隨著熏制的太妃糖和淡淡的酸味麵包卷。

尾韻：悠長，帶有巴西堅果的鹹味和淡淡的煙熏味，並在味蕾上持續很長時間。
