The sixth edition of experimental Octomore, famous for being made with the most heavily peated barley on the planet. Bruichladdich are still able to impart a delicate, graceful emphasis within this intense whisky.
 
Nose: Burnt and charred wood, cooked sea whelks, white pepper, pork sausage and a mossy fresh water stream.
 
Palate: Full bodied. Straight peat with taste of barley,  and hint of thick black liquorice stick. Very balanced.
 
Finish: A very long fiery finish that burns long into the night.
