This single malt from 2007 is a mysterious Speysider which, with full-bodied aromas of figs, dates and raisins, is a role model for sherry cask aging. It is one of the first bottlings in the new look of Berry Bros & Rudd. Bottled exclusively for the German importer at natural cask strength with 64.3% vol. to a total of 646 bottles.
 
Nose: Dried fruits, spices and some leather fill the air.
 
Palate: Figs, dates, raisins and honey set the tone here. The clear sherry aromas skilfully integrate the higher alcohol content.
 
Finish: The sherry is also clearly present in the finish with aromas of spices and honey.
