Kavalan's S08 barrels is always the favourite of many whisky lovers. This bottle S081217040A was distilled in December 2008 and bottled with an alcohol by volume of 58.6% in September 2019. It was jointly selected by La Maison du Whisky (LMDW), the largest retailer of spirits in France, and The Nectar, the largest independent bottling company in Belgium . Based on Kavalan's angel share (approximately 8%) is much higher than Scotland's 2%, so this Kavalan aged about 11 years is said to be equivalent to a 44-year-old Scotch whisky. In addition, this bottle won the silver award in the 2020 Malt Maniacs Award (MMA), which shows that its strength is quite outstanding.

Nose: Punchy, strong plum and dark chocolate, and then slightly ripped berry, dried plum and oaky.

Palate: Thick and very punchy. Start from strong plum, dark chocolate and berry, to raisin, spice and licorice.

Finish: Long and strong. Very sherry and plum.

S08桶的Kavalan一直都受到眾多威士忌酒友所喜愛。這瓶S081217040A於2008年12月蒸餾，並在2019年9月以酒精濃度58.6%裝瓶，由法國最大烈酒零售商La Maison du Whisky (LMDW)與比利時最大獨立裝瓶公司 The Nectar 聯合選桶。Kavalan蒸餾廠為於較和暖的地區，angel share（大約為8%）遠高於蘇格蘭的2%，據講有令這瓶熟成了接近11年的Kavalan有相當於一支熟成了44年的蘇格蘭威士忌的陳釀風味。此外，這瓶威士忌更在2020年的Malt Maniacs Award (MMA)中以89分，一分之差屈居銀獎，可見其實力相當出眾。

香氣：初聞有很豐滿而濃郁的布冧和黑朱古力，按著在少許的熟莓、布冧乾和橡木味。

口感：濃厚而強勁。入口是濃郁的布冧、黑巧克力和莓，然後是葡萄乾、香料和甘草。

尾韻：悠長而強勁。雪梨味與布冧的味道都十分強。
