A Spirits' Shop Selection bottling of Clynelish single malt, distilled in 1997 and bottled in 2017 as part of the Cellar Book collection for La Maison du Whisky. It was distilled in 1997 and set aside to age in a single hogshead cask until 2017, when it was bottled at cask strength with an outturn of 261 bottles.

Nose: Incredibly Clynelish waxy. Cold baked pears, lemon, sea salt, mustard seed and a touch of caraway. With time the waxiness opens up with a turn towards warm yellow hues of thin honey

Palate: An initial ginger root spiciness subsides into refreshingly fruit-forward, with hints of green apple and strawberry. And in a few moments the warmer hues of soothing honey arrive to quiet things down

Finish: Long, honey and sweet chamomile
